Frogs

Did you know its frog time here? I was just bicycling home from dancing lessons when I saw two girls standing along the side of the road. So I stopped, and asked what they were doing. And they told me they were rescuing frogs. Because, in spring, this time of the year, the frogs come out of their hibernation (is that even a word in english) and go back to the pond where they were born to make babyfrogs with their partners and lay eggs in the pond. So there were like 20 frogs on the road and we picked them up and brought them to the pond on the other side of the road. (some were on top of each other) And then the girls went their way and i went mine, and i rescued another 10 frogs or so. Rescued, because otherwise they had been run over by cars and bicycles, like the other hundred frogs I see every morning.
Don't you think I'm a hero? I should get medal or something: (Frog Hero of the Year!!)
